Ryan Reynolds has sparked speculation that ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner rather than later after a cryptic Avengers pH๏τo. Following his return as Wade Wilson in 2024’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine, the door for Reynolds crossing into the MCU timeline has been opened completely, allowing him to cross paths with various heroes and villains in the franchise.

As ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine grossed more than $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office, many have been wondering when the Merc with a Mouth will actually be seen next in the MCU. Since the Avengers: Doomsday cast is actively filming the big Phase 6 installment, audience members have obviously been theorizing if 2026 will mark the return of ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool.

At the time of this story’s publication, Marvel Studios has not formally announced if Reynolds’ ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool will be in Avengers: Doomsday. The only project that he has in the works with Marvel Studios is an MCU movie with ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool and X-Men characters, which is still in the development stages.

With very little to go on from his post, there are multiple possibilities of what Reynolds’ Avengers tease could actually mean.
