Pedro Pascal Isn’t The Only Fantastic Four Star Who Appeared On Game Of Thrones

The Fantastic Four: First Steps includes Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal, but he is not the only actor in both. The ending of Fantastic Four: First Steps solidified Pascal’s future as Reed Richards, setting up his appearance in Avengers: Doomsday and beyond. What kickstarted this career, though, was his appearance as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones.

Pascal appeared as Oberyn in Game of Thrones season 4, the Dornish prince who aided Tyrion Lannister during a murder trial. Interestingly, Pascal is not the only Fantastic Four: First Steps cast member to appear in Game of Thrones. Of course, the incredibly popular show ran for eight seasons, meaning it acquired several actors of varying status over the years.

Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast also includes several Game of Thrones actors, but a few are hidden in Fantastic Four: First Steps, too. The Marvel-Game of Thrones crossovers are obviously prevalent, and here are those besides Pascal that appear in the most recent MCU story.

All MCU Fantastic Four Actors Who Appeared In Game Of Thrones

Three Others Joined Pascal In Westeros

Aside from Pascal, three other actors in The Fantastic Four: First Steps have appeared in Game of Thrones. The biggest is Joseph Quinn, who portrays Johnny Storm in the MCU movie. Quinn appeared in Game of Thrones season 7, episode 4, in a small role before his breakout in Stranger Things season 4.

Quinn played Koner, a guard at the gate of Winterfell. Koner interacted briefly with Maisie Williams’ Arya Stark, refusing to believe that she was who she claimed to be. Winterfell actually connects to one of the other Fantastic Four: First Steps actors who appeared in Game of Thrones: Ralph Ineson.

Ineson, who plays Galactus in Fantastic Four: First Steps, portrayed Dagmer Cleftjaw in five episodes of Game of Thrones season 2. Dagmer was a soldier of the Ironborn who sacked Winterfell, later inhabited by Quinn’s Koner, before betraying Theon Greyjoy, his last act in the show.

The final Fantastic Four: First Steps actor who appears in Game of Thrones is Mark Gatiss. Gatiss played a small role in the former as Ted Gilbert, the talk show host who bookends the film. In Game of Thrones, Gatiss plays a character called Tycho Nestoris. Tycho was a representative of the Iron Bank of Braavos and appeared in four episodes across three seasons.

This marks the last of the actors from Fantastic Four: First Steps who appeared in Game of Thrones alongside Pascal. In many ways, The Fantastic Four: First Steps marked bigger roles for the likes of Quinn, Ineson, and Gatiss, but there is no denying that Oberyn Martell was Pascal’s breakout role that eventually led to his casting as the MCU’s Reed Richards.
