Ahead of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, one of the stars teases the franchise’s future, also three months after the fourth installment’s confirmation. Now You See Me 3, coming to theaters on Nov. 14, with a story by Eric Warren Singer, features the return of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, and Morgan Freeman.
In April 2025, it was announced that a fourth Now You See Me movie is already in the works, with Ruben Fleischer returning to direct. And during an interview with ScreenRant‘s Brandon Zachary, Franco, who plays Jack Wilder, one of the magicians known as the Four Horsemen, alluded to the franchise’s future.
With the gang back together, the actor shared that there was “definitely more magic.” Without revealing any details, Franco teased that he was “learning new ways to throw cards.” On the subject of the fourth movie, he expressed his enthusiasm to return. Check out his comments below:
Now You See Me 3, coming out in November — the gang is back, definitely more magic. I’m learning new ways to throw cards [Laughter]. I have the greatest time with that cast. I think our natural love for each other bleeds onto the screen, and I hope to make many more with them.
What Dave Franco’s Comments Mean For Now You See Me’s Future
More Magic & New Card Tricks
Now You See Me 2 features more complex tricks in comparison to the first movie. One scene where the Four Horsemen have to come up with inventive ways to pᴀss cards between one another to sneak a piece of a device through security is a particular highlight of the movie.
Franco’s tease about “new ways to throw cards” hints at new card tricks and potentially even more impressive scenes that involve playing cards and sleight of hand in the next couple of heist movies. Franco’s interview also sheds some light on the team dynamics moving forward.
The upcoming movie marks the third time Eisenberg, Harrelson, and Franco have starred together as three of the Four Horsemen. Fisher, who plays escape artist Henley Reeves in the first movie, didn’t return for the sequel, but the next movie will see the original band reunited.
However, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t‘s trailer also implies that Daniel Atlas has had a falling out with his teammates. Yet Franco’s comment teases that the gang will be back together and stronger than ever, possibly setting up the Horsemen for more Robin Hood-style adventures in the future.
Our Take On Now You See Me’s Future
Now You See Me Clearly Has More Stories To Tell
Franco’s sentiments also indicate that while Now You See Me 4 was confirmed only three months ago, the actor is already starting the preparation. This means that the new movie is making progress and might head into production sooner than most expect.
Now You See Me 3 is a continuation of the franchise that features an even more complicated heist. In the upcoming movie, Atlas recruits a younger generation of magicians to help him take down a corrupt, wealthy merchant. While the third movie will see the Horsemen face their biggest challenge yet, Now You See Me 4 may still outdo it in years to come.
