San Diego Comic-Con is always the greatest hub for the biggest movie and TV show reveals each year, and 2025 is no different, with all of these pieces of news being announced.

2025’s San Diego Comic-Con has all kinds of exciting panels, with the convention featuring news about franchises like Five Nights at Freddy’s, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Predator, Invincible, and more. Thursday, July 24 was the first night of San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and here are all of the biggest reveals from the event so far.

The Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 Full Trailer Debuts

Giving Another Look At The Video Game Movie Sequel

Ahead of the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 panel, the newest trailer for the upcoming video game movie sequel was dropped. The trailer shows several new video game elements, such as the Freddy Fazbear mask, while also highlighting more of the animatronics and the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria location.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will release on December 5, 2025. While there is plenty of time for more information about the movie to be revealed, the San Diego Comic-Con 2025 trailer is the best look at the film so far.

Skeet Ulrich Is Cast In Five Nights At Freddy’s 2

Creating A Major Scream Reunion

Another big piece of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 news that was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is that Skeet Ulrich has been cast in the sequel. Ulrich will be reuniting with his Scream co-star and fellow Ghostface co-star Matthew Lillard in the movie, although Ulrich’s character hasn’t been revealed yet.

Skeet Ulrich appeared at the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 panel, where he teased his character. According to Ulrich, “I cannot [reveal what character I’m playing.] I play somebody with a very particular and specific past and somebody with a very deep emotional tie to what’s going on.”

Although Star Wars was not expected to have a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Ahsoka did show off an image from Ahsoka season 2 was released. After the character appeared in Ahsoka season 1, Ezra Bridger’s live-action return has gotten a first look ahead of season 2’s release. Eman Esfandi plays the character in the upcoming season, reprising his role from Ahsoka season 1.

Ezra Bridger was previously the protagonist of the animated series Star Wars Rebels, where he was voiced by Taylor Gray. Ezra has since become a fan-favorite character, and after only appearing in a few season 1 episodes, many fans are excited to see his live-action iteration have a more prominent role in the upcoming season of Ahsoka.

The First Trailer For Percy Jackson Season 2 Is Out Now

A first-look teaser for Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, showing off the Disney+ adaptation of The Sea of Monsters. The trailer reveals that season 2 will be released on December 10, 2025. The trailer also shows a first look at Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson, as well as other book elements.

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues Reveals Its First Trailer

The first trailer for Spinal Tap II: The End Continues was dropped during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, finally giving a look at the highly-anticipated sequel to This Is Spinal Tap. The previous film is one of the most beloved mockumentaries of all time, and Spinal Tap II is trying to recapture that decades later.

The trailer shows the original Spinal Tap band reuniting, with Rob Reiner’s Marty DiBergi returning to make another documentary about the group. However, Spinal Tap has become washed up and split up, with them struggling to get the band back together.

Avatar: Seven Havens Provides More Details

A First Look Image Was Provided

The Avatar: The Last Airbender sequel series Avatar: Seven Havens has been announced for a while now, but a first look was finally provided at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. The series will follow an Earthbender who discovers that she is the next Avatar, following up on the sequel series The Legend of Korra. Michael DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko are returning for the series.

The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender is another Avatar: The Last Airbender sequel project that is in the works, and more details were provided at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. It was revealed that the film will have a unique animation style.

Invincible Season 4 Cast Matthew Rhys As Dinosaurus

The Season Will Release Before The End Of 2026

Another major Invincible cast member was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, with it being announced that Matthew Rhys will voice Dinosaurus. The Perry Mason actor will play the ᴅᴇᴀᴅly Invincible antagonist, with a first look at Dinosaurus also being revealed.

On top of that, it was revealed that Invincible season 4 will release before the end of 2026, and that the animation should improve with each season.
