The Fictional Band Who’s Just Claimed A Prestigious Spot On The Billboard H๏τ 100

The Billboard H๏τ 100 is a coveted list that artists strive for, and one animated band has reached a prestigious position. Even better, they have quickly managed to rise through the ranks. Now, they have a chance to reach number one, just as many classic hits almost did.

With the success it’s achieved thus far, this song could eventually be considered among the greatest tunes from soundtracks. This is because it’s not only moving up the Billboard H๏τ 100, but it’s also quickly gaining streams on Spotify. This mirrors what some of the biggest songs there once accomplished.

It remains to be seen what more will come from this film. Perhaps more songs will climb the ranks, or maybe there will be additional songs made in the future. For now, all involved in the making of this track should relish this accomplishment.

KPop Demon Hunters’ HUNTR/X Currently Sits At #6 On The Billboard H๏τ 100

It Just Keeps Rising Up The Chart

On June 20, 2025, KPop Demon Hunters was released on Netflix. The film follows the K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, who have a lot more than just music to worry about. Along with performing on stage, they are also demon hunters. From there, things quickly unfold, including issues concerning the K-pop boy group, the Saja Boys.

One of the biggest songs in the movie is “Golden.” The tune has become so popular that it has landed on the Billboard H๏τ 100. After debuting at the 81st spot, it continued to rise, cracking the Top 10 shortly after its release. The song has managed to reach the sixth spot and has a chance to keep rising.

When this tune was being created, it was done with the idea that it would follow traditional musical standards while also being a legitimate pop song. The song’s lyrics are very powerful, telling the story of the three girls’ journey to get to where they are now. It has a climactic chorus that reaches the ultimate conclusion.

On the Billboard charts, it’s not just this song that is doing well, as the overall soundtrack has made its own mark. It has reached as high as number two on the Billboard 200. It’s making history, beating out some historic animated film soundtracks of the past, including 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (soundtrack).

The Musical Talent Behind HUNTR/X Is Nothing Short Of Impressive

Let’s Hear It For The Voices Behind The Music

There are multiple layers to the voice cast for KPop Demon Hunters. For each character in HUNTR/X, there is a speaking voice and a singing voice. Behind Rumi’s singing voice is EJAE, who, along with having been on multiple soundtracks in the past, has worked with many K-pop girl groups, including Red Velvet and aespa.

Behind the singing voice of Mira is AUDREY NUNA. Throughout her life, NUNA has had an interest in music, even studying for a time at the Clive Davis Insтιтute of NYU. She has released her own music as an R&B singer and rapper. Some of her most notable songs include “Damn Right” and “Comic Sans,” which features Jack Harlow.

For Zoey’s singing voice, the credit goes to REI AMI. After her professional career took off in 2019, REI AMI has released a few projects. Her song “Freak,” which features Sub Urban, became a sensation on TikTok. This has helped her gain popularity, which is sure to grow further.

Along with “Golden,” these three as HUNTR/X contribute to a few more songs on the soundtrack. Another tune that has gotten attention is “Takedown.” Thanks to this film, these tremendous voices have come together to create magic. It remains to be seen if there will be a second film, but fans will undoubtedly clamor for more songs from them.
