The Forgotten Palace of Tides

Palace

Long ago, this palace was the heart of an ancient kingdom, ruled by a benevolent queen known for her wisdom and her love of the ocean. The palace was constructed as a tribute to the sea itself, with cascading pools and fountains that mirrored the tides outside.

Its grand halls were filled with the sounds of waves lapping gently at the walls, and the light from the glᴀss domes reflected off the water, making the palace shimmer like a living dream.

But the kingdom was doomed. Over time, the sea that once blessed them with bountiful trade and protection turned against them. The tides rose higher every year, creeping ever closer to the palace walls. The queen, desperate to save her people, made a bargain with an ancient sea god. In exchange for their safety, the palace itself would be offered to the ocean, to be swallowed by the waves and never to be seen again.

The Flooding of the Palace

As the sea god claimed its prize, the water rushed in faster than anyone could have imagined. The once-glorious halls became silent pools, their ceilings high above, filled with the echoes of a kingdom lost. The people fled, and the queen disappeared beneath the rising tide, her fate sealed by the very waves she had loved.

To this day, adventurers and wanderers find themselves drawn to the palace, its mystery and melancholy calling them to explore its depths. They come searching for treasure or answers, but they leave with only tales of the haunting beauty of the lost palace and the eternal whisper of the sea queen, forever bound to the tides.
