Alan Ritchson is more than ready to take on a major role in the new DC Universe, and I’m convinced the actor has already proved multiple times that he can lead the juggernaut franchise. Ritchson’s popularity has skyrocketed in the past few years after he was cast as Jack Reacher in Prime Video’s hit Reacher series.
The actor would be perfect for many DCU canon characters, and Ritchson has been accordingly fancast for such roles. It sure helps that the actor has commented in multiple interviews that he would love to play the DCU’s Batman and explore all the Dark Knight’s gadgets onscreen. More recently, Ritchson played a street-level vigilante, portraying Hawk in тιтans. While the show was not the best, Ritchson’s role became a fan-favorite, with the actor bringing the necessary grit to the veteran hero, though also sprinkling his signature comedic timing where needed. Batman is a role that would allow Ritchson to use the best parts of his previous DC characters.
