The digital release date has been revealed for How to Train Your Dragon. This movie was DreamWorks Animation’s first foray into the live-action adaptation space. It remakes the first installment of the beloved Viking-era animated trilogy, which originally came out in 2010.

Director Dean DeBlois returned to the film after his tenure on the animated version, and his work was incredibly well-received overall. Now, Universal has revealed the digital release date for How to Train Your Dragon. The film will be available digitally starting tomorrow, July 15. It will be available for purchase to both own or rent. For those who purchase the film, a number of exclusive bonus features will be available.

These bonus features include a series of deleted scenes and a gag reel. Another highlight will be the feature-length director’s commentary version.

The How to Train Your Dragon digital release will be followed by a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on August 12. No streaming release date has been revealed yet.
