The Fast & Furious franchise will come to an end with the release of Fast & Furious 11, and so many exciting things will need to occur in the film. While interest in the franchise has faded from the highs of Furious 7, everything known about Fast & Furious 11 suggests the new sequel will return to its roots.
This does not mean that there will not be big and explosive sequences in the new film. The ending of Fast X featured a bold cliffhanger, with many of the most important characters in the franchise potentially reaching their fates. Details on this will need to be explored satisfactorily.
Vin Diesel has shepherded the series from the beginning and has recently shown great enthusiasm with a new update. This next film is set to deliver a final story that can wrap up everything that came from the Fast & Furious movies before it. There is a lot riding on the new film, and it must explore the following.

Delivering On Fast X’s Cliffhanger At The Dam
The Ending Of Fast X Put The Heroes In A Precarious Position
Fast X ended with all the heroes beaten. Aimes turned against the crew, and they were labelled as terrorists. Much of this led up to the final scene, which saw a conflict between Dom and Dante along the side of the Alᴅᴇᴀᴅávila Dam, where Dante triggered an explosion. This ending saw Dom’s car engulfed in flames.
While Fast X was previously said to be the first of a new trilogy, the box office returns and inflated cost of the most recent installment have caused the studio to reconsider. Fast & Furious 11 is now likely to be the last in the series.
A satisfying resolution to this scene in Fast 11 is necessary. While Dom had survived worse in the previous Fast stunts, the latest film certainly made it look like he had been killed. The new movie will hopefully pick up immediately after this moment and show resolution, including Dom’s survival.

The Inevitable Defeat Of Dante
Jason Momoa’s Dante Is One Of The Franchise’s Best Villains
Dante was seeded as an antagonist with links to the crew’s past, dating all the way back to Fast Five. Unlike the other villains in the series, he must be defeated rather than be rehabilitated and brought into the family. Momoa gave a terrifying performance in the last film, creating one of the most interesting and terrifying antagonists yet seen.
Unlike the other villains in the series, Dante must be defeated rather than be rehabilitated and brought into the family.
How his defeat will be handled could go several different ways, but it must be concrete and it must be thrilling. After Dante wrought so much destruction against the family, including the death of Jakob Toretto, he must pay. Seeing how this is realized in the new film is one of its most appealing elements.

Finding Out What Happened To Roman, Tej, Ramsey, And Han
Their Plane Crashed At The End Of Fast X
In one of the strangest moments in the franchise, just before attempting to kill Dom, Dante blew up the plane that held so many Fast heroes. The cliffhanger Fast X scene was realized without fanfare and was shown from a distance, but it did seem to imply that Roman, Tej, Ramsey, and Han were killed.
If this is the case, and these characters are truly ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, further explanation must be given. More likely, however, is that the characters were not actually onboard that plane, and the moment was a fakeout. Either way, there is more story to tell about this situation that must be addressed in the next installment.

Seeing How Dwayne Johnson And Vin Diesel Bury The Hatchet
Behind-The-Scenes Conflicts Between The Two Have Caused Issues
Diesel is said to be very controlling of the Fast franchise, and this has caused him to rub up against some of his co-stars. A major creative force behind the series, Diesel has made several choices that have caused him to find conflict with some of his co-stars. The biggest case of this came between Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.
Johnson left the franchise and previously said that he would not return. However, he was eventually brought back in the Fast X credits scene, and an additional spinoff was added to the slate. With the conclusion to the Fast franchise planned for Fast 11, the dynamic between Hobbs and Dom will likely be explored in this film.

Putting Gisele And Han Back Together Again
Sung Kang And Gal Gadot’s Characters Are Alive
Both characters previously seemed to be ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, but it now appears that Fast 11 will be able to reunite Gisele and Han. F9 was able to retcon Han’s death from Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, and he was able to become a regular part of the crew from there. However, his dynamic with Gal Gadot’s Gisele is severely missed.
Fortunately, the ending of Fast X saw Gisele returning in a submarine. While the details of her being able to come back are not yet explained, the chance to reunite these two characters has the potential to be among the strongest scenes in the entire series.

Some Incredible Street Racing Sequences
Car Culture Will Be an Important Part Of The Final Film
The beginning of the Fast franchise saw many street races. This LA subculture was a hallmark of the series, especially during the first four installments. While the stories grew bigger, and these were given less of a focus, Diesel has confirmed that audiences will see it return in Fast 11.

Some of the best scenes in the Fast series have seen characters like Brian and Han participating in tense races. There is a unique kind of machismo and tension that was plugged into these sequences, which has been lost in the world-hopping sequels since. Seeing how this is realized is one of the most exciting details of the next sequel.

Finally Bringing The Fast Franchise To An End
The End Of A Momentous Era
This next film will be the last one in Diesel’s Dominic Toretto era, and it is so compelling to see what that might mean. The ending of Furious 7 gave an impactful and emotional goodbye to Paul Walker, and the weight of this was felt throughout the whole movie.
While the next chapter, fortunately, will not have the same real-world weight behind it, saying goodbye to these characters is an important moment in the pop culture landscape. These films have been an incredible part of the cinematic landscape, and understanding the end to their stories is a promising feature.
After a series of films where deaths have occurred but have generally been undone shortly after, seeing some level of finality in the Fast series is a tantalizing prospect. While this will hopefully not see characters like Dom reaching a dark and final end, it will be refreshing to see how the franchise can wrap itself up.

Seeing Brian O’Conner On Screen One Last Time
Audiences Can’t Wait To See Him Again
Diesel recently confirmed that Brian O’Conner will return to the big screen in Fast 11, and this detail is equally exciting and worrying. The character was given an emotional ending in Furious 7, and there is some concern that this could undo that. Fortunately, Paul Walker’s family seems to be in support of this decision.
ᴅᴇᴀᴅ actors have been brought back through computer-animated images, but this has caused some controversy. It is not confirmed that this is how the new film will approach this, but it was previously done with computer-generated images put over footage of Walker’s brothers in Furious 7.
As long as this is done with the family’s blessing, it could work. However, it would also be possible for the franchise to recast the role. This might be a difficult task, but it could be a good way to honor both the character and the actor’s legacy.
If done right, bringing Brian back could help give a powerful and emotional end to these characters. While the film will have to be careful with how it approaches this scene, allowing audiences to see Brian and Dom together again in Fast & Furious 11 could be the perfect way to end the series.
