Madea’s Destination Wedding Cast & Character Guide

Madea’s Destination Wedding is now out on Netflix, and the new Tyler Perry film features an ensemble cast of characters both new and old. As the latest entry in the 20-year-spanning Madea franchise on Netflix, the film follows a rushed wedding at a tropical locale with great comedy and strong family drama.

There have been a lot of Madea movies from Tyler Perry, and they have grown a dedicated fanbase. Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, has carved out a unique sector of the cinematic landscape, crafting a series of profitable films at a surprisingly low cost. Other recent hits like Straw have shown off his dynamic range.

Madea is not the only character in Tyler Perry’s best movies, but she has become one of the most familiar. The new movie adds a new location and a new partner for Tiffany. The ridiculous comedy is resonating with audiences, and much of this is to do with the strength of the charismatic cast.
