Adria Arjona rocks a DCU Wonder Woman costume in a stunning fan art piece that shows makes the case for the star. The search for the DCU’s Wonder Woman will start sooner rather than later, as the Amazonian hero has been confirmed to be making her debut soon. Among the most popular fancasts for Wonder Woman is Adria Arjona, of Andor fame.
Digital artist and DC fan Bucky Seventysix shows what Adria Arjona could look like as Wonder Woman in the DCU. The image depicts Arjona’s Wonder Woman as a musclebound Diana wearing her classic armor and wielding the lᴀsso of truth. Unlike Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Arjona’s wears a star-studded skirt. What Adria Arjona’s Wonder Woman Fan Art Means For The DCU
The DCU’s Wonder Woman Can Differ Greatly From The DCEU’s
Despite the hero’s few live-action adaptations, Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot embodied various key aspects of Wonder Woman quite accurately. Still, there are plenty of ways the DCU’s Wonder Woman can stand apart from her big-screen and small-screen predecessors, in terms of personality, powers, and physical appearance. For instance, the DCU’s Diana Prince could be even stronger than usual, and both her costume and fighting style could reflect that.
Wonder Woman’s costume has also changed little throughout the years, compared to others like Batman’s and Superman’s. Yet, the addition of the star-studded skirt, the more classic headpiece, and a more simplified W-shaped belt would be welcome tweaks that could suit the DCU’s style. Since the DCEU stuck close to the comics and David Corenswet’s Superman wears trunks in the DCU, no accessory or weapon may be off the table for Wonder Woman.
Our Take On Adria Arjona’s Wonder Woman Fan Art
Any Actor Cast As Wonder Woman Will Resemble The Character More Once The Project Begins
It’s rather difficult to find an actor who suits the role of Wonder Woman, has the exact build needed, and is willing to play the hero for many years. Fan castings such as Adria Arjona are popular primarily due to the actors’ skills, meaning that the actors could bulk up for the role before production begins. In other words, it’s possible for a star like Adria Arjona to look like her fan-made Wonder Woman images if she’s cast, with enough time.
It will take a while for DC Studios to announce the DCU’s official Wonder Woman actor, however. No Wonder Woman reboot movie has officially added to the DCU slate yet. Once the upcoming Paradise Lost prequel series is released and The Brave and the Bold‘s Batman is confirmed, perhaps the search for the next live-action Diana Prince will begin.
