August 1 Is A Big Day For MCU Spider-Man Fans

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day gets a crucial update ahead of the actor’s Marvel Cinematic Universe return. With Phase 6 kicking off this summer with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the MCU timeline is getting closer to finally having Peter Parker back next year in Spider-Man. Brand New Day.

As the road to Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been a long one, Holland’s fourth Spider-Man installment will properly explore Peter’s life after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. While fans have been waiting to get more details on the Phase 6 installment, the wait is almost over.

According to a new report from The Herald, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to start principal pH๏τography in Glasgow on Friday, August 1. The report states that, between August 1 and August 9, parts of Bothwell Street, Wellington Street, West Campbell Street, Blythswood Street, Douglas Street, and Pitt Street will be shut down due to filming of the new MCU installment.

Meanwhile, Cadzow Street and Oak Street will be fully closed on August 9 for the Spider-Man: Brand Day shooting. Per The Herald, production will move to Merchant City, as “vehicle movements will be prohibited on Wilson Street, Brunswick Street, Hutchison Street and Candleriggs,” from August 13 to August 16, while “scenes also being sH๏τ on Glᴀssford Street and Virginia Street” from August 14 to August 15.

What The Spider-Man: Brand New Day Filming Report Means For The MCU Movie

This Spider-Man: Brand New Day update means that fans can finally expect to start learning some more clues about the film’s overall storyline, as Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have thus far been keeping it under wraps. Depending on what they film during those days, this could be the first time MCU fans will get a look at Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

It also wouldn’t be shocking if the Glasgow filming may also give a first look at Sadie Sink’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day character, as she is one of the biggest mysteries about the new movie. But it will all depend on how many of these locations will be available to the general public, as there is bound to be a lot of security involved, too.
