When You Can Watch Jurᴀssic World Rebirth At Home On Streaming

Jurᴀssic World Rebirth is a H๏τly anticipated movie, but when will viewers be able to see it both in theaters and at home? The movie is the latest directorial effort from Gareth Edwards (2014’s Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), working from a screenplay by David Koepp (2002’s Spider-Man, Jurᴀssic Park, The Lost World: Jurᴀssic Park).

The upcoming Jurᴀssic World Rebirth is the seventh installment in the dinosaur franchise. The franchise kicked off with the Jurᴀssic Park trilogy, which premiered between 1993 and 2001, and was resurrected with the Jurᴀssic World trilogy, which premiered between 2015 and 2022. Collectively, the six movies have grossed more than $6 billion at the global box office.

Jurᴀssic World Rebirth, which is set five years after 2022’s Jurᴀssic World Dominion, is a standalone sequel starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey as a trio whose mission to collect samples for a pharmaceutical company takes them to the InGen research island Ile Saint-Hubert, which is full of dangerous experimental dinosaurs.

When Will Jurᴀssic World Rebirth Release On Streaming?

Its Streaming Home is Already Determined

While the exact date that Jurᴀssic World Rebirth is coming to streaming is unknown, its streaming home will be Peacock. The streaming service is run by Comcast, which is owned by NBCUniversal, so Universal theatrical releases from across their brands end up on the platform, though they are frequently disseminated to other platforms after a period of time.

The Peacock library includes all six of the other Jurᴀssic Park movies alongside other Universal тιтles such as Wicked and Despicable Me 4 (which was a co-production with Illumination). Below, see a breakdown of how long it took select тιтles to come to streaming after their theatrical premieres:

The window between theatrical and streaming generally ranges between 49 days and 120 days, and the тιтles with the longest windows tend to be the studio’s big-budget tentpoles. Because of this, it is likely that Jurᴀssic World Rebirth will be at the higher end of the range.

Its immediate predecessor Jurᴀssic World Dominion took 102 days to come to streaming, so if it follows in that billion-dollar movie’s footsteps, Rebirth could hit Peacock as soon as October 12, 2025, though it will probably come no later than October 30.

When Will Jurᴀssic World Rebirth Release On Digital?

This Should Happen Before Its Streaming Debut

Generally, movies come to video on demand platforms considerably sooner than subscription streaming platforms. This is because they can be offered at premium prices that are equal to or even higher than ticket prices, allowing the release a bit of a buffer where it can continue directly generating sales rather than subscription revenue.

Overall, the window between Universal releases coming to theaters and being made available on premium VOD ranges between 18 and 39 days, with an average of 28.5 days.

Because of the star-studded cast of Jurᴀssic World Rebirth, which could prove to be a major draw, and its sizable reported budget of $180 million, which necessitates a huge return on investment, it seems likely that the movie will remain in theaters for as long as possible and stick to the upper end of that range, just like with its streaming window.

In addition to Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey being known for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Wicked respectively, Mahershala Ali is a two-time Oscar winner, for Moonlight and Green Book.

While Dominion came to streaming earlier than other Universal blockbusters, it came to VOD later, taking 53 days. Should this be the case for Jurᴀssic World Rebirth, it may not be available for digital purchase or rental until August 24, 2025.
