What Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt’s Reunion Means

Will They Reunite On Screen?

Cruise and Pitt starred together in 1994’s Interview with the Vampire, though they haven’t appeared alongside each other since becoming two of the biggest movie stars in the world. Though it was rumored that the two actors clashed while filming Interview with the Vampire, they were originally lined up to reunite in their own racing movie together, Ford v Ferrari, with Kosinski as the director. However, those plans eventually fell apart and turned into the project starring Christian Bale and Matt Damon with James Mangold as director.

However, the possibility of another Pitt and Cruise collaboration remains open. During a recent interview, Pitt said that he would be open to working with Cruise again, but only if the stunts stay on solid ground. He reflected on their previous collaboration on Interview with the Vampire and admitted that he is not interested in performing extreme stunts like hanging off airplanes, something Cruise has famously done for the Mission: Impossible movies. Read Pitt’s remarks below:

He’s sweet. Yeah, we did have our go-cart days back in the ’90s. Well, I’m not gonna hang my a** off airplane sh*t like that. When he does something again that’s on the ground.

Cruise cares about the industry, and he continues to show up to champion the work of his peers.

F1 the Movie releases in theaters on June 27.
