Road House 2 is looking at an MCU star to join the upcoming Prime Video prequel. Following the major success of the Road House reboot, Prime Video greenlit the development of a sequel, with Jake Gyllenhaal expected to reprise his role of ex-UFC fighter Dalton. Guy Ritchie will take over the directing duties from Doug Liman, who did the first, as filming is expected to begin sometime this fall. However, there has been little detail about what Road House 2 will entail, but the sequel received one major update.

According to Variety, Dave Bautista has been offered a role in Road House 2. There are very few details about who Bautista will play. There has yet to be a comment from him or Prime Video.

While the report doesn’t specify what kind of role Bautista was offered, it wouldn’t be surprising if it leans into the villainous side, which would further continue a trend for the action franchise.
