Brad Pitt Reveals He Will Do Another Movie With Tom Cruise On One Condition

Brad Pitt reveals that he would be open to another movie collaboration with Tom Cruise, but only on one condition. The two Hollywood megastars have only made one movie together, 1994’s Interview With the Vampire, during which they both had very different experiences. Despite being two of the most recognizable and successful movie stars in the world, their paths have not crossed on screen since then. However, that could be set to change in the near future, based on Pitt’s recent comments.

While talking to E! News (via IndieWire) at the premiere of his new movie F1, Pitt revealed that he would be open to collaborating again with Cruise, under the condition that any stunts are kept on the ground. Pitt talked about their past collaboration, before revealing that he is not down for hanging off an airplane, something Cruise has done for the Mission: Impossible movies. Check out Pitt’s comments below:

He’s sweet. Yeah, we did have our go-cart days back in the ’90s. Well, I’m not gonna hang my a** off airplane sh*t like that. When he does something again that’s on the ground.

What This Means For A Pitt-Cruise Team Up In The Future

Another Collaboration Could Very Well Happen

The fact that Pitt and Cruise have not starred in a movie together since 1994 in Interview With the Vampire might sound surprising, but it makes a lot of sense. Both are huge box office stars who have created strong bodies of work over the years, and there is a good chance that they may have competed for roles over the years. It is also likely that many productions simply did not have the room to involve two enormous stars of the time in the same project.

There were rumors that the two actors had a feud on the set of Interview, but Pitt’s comments suggest that this is not the case. He talks positively about Cruise, and leaves the door open for a collaboration in the future. The fact that Pitt’s condition is based on Earth-bound stunts seemingly coincides with the release of Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, as the actor has received a lot of attention for his record-breaking stunts. Few actors are willing to do what he does, so it makes sense that Pitt would prefer to reunite on a simpler movie.

Our Take On Another Pitt-Cruise Collaboration

The Chances Of A Team-Up Are More Possible Than Ever

Pitt and Cruise working together again is a collaboration that many thought they would never see, but, based on their current career paths, it is something that could seriously happen. Pitt recently won an Oscar for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, while Cruise has seemingly wrapped up the Mission: Impossible action franchise. Both men might be looking to experiment more and try different projects, and this is why a collaboration between the two feels more possible than ever.
