I hope this upcoming comedy film, which will come out about a year after The Acolyte was canceled, will be a huge win for Manny Jacinto. Based on the success of the first film, there’s a strong chance that the sequel, which will see Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis both reprise their roles, will also be a huge hit.

In addition to Lohan and Curtis, Jacinto is also one of the main members of the cast of Freakier Friday. In the sequel, Jacinto will play Eric Davies, who is the fiancé of Lohan’s Anna Coleman. If Jacinto stands out as one of the funniest characters in the upcoming sequel, then audiences will likely be able to look past his underwhelming role in The Acolyte.

Thankfully, Jacinto’s role in The Good Place proves that he is hilarious. Throughout The Good Place, which is a critically acclaimed comedy series that ran from 2016 to 2020, Jacinto’s character acted as the show’s main comedic relief.
