15 Most Powerful Marvel Heroes Missing From Avengers: Doomsday, Ranked

Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast list leaves out many powerful live-action Marvel heroes, though they could still be part of the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Marvel tried something new when it came to announcing the cast of Avengers: Doomsday, as the studio live-streamed cast chairs with the names of the actors for a few hours until every actor was revealed. However, there were some glaring omissions from the film’s cast, and Avengers: Doomsday‘s story needs those missing players to feel as epic as desired.

Avengers: Doomsday brings together several Marvel teams, which include Fox’s original X-Men, Sam Wilson’s Avengers, the MCU’s New Avengers (the Thunderbolts after their recent rebranding), and more. Despite those announced characters including many powerful members, there are quite a few heroes who could still join the upcoming MCU movie and change the power rankings — Kevin Feige has said Marvel did not reveal the whole cast — and these are the most powerful among them:

15

Rogue

Last Appeared In X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014)

While Fox’s X-Men movies provide several characters for Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast, there are some notable absences. When it comes to powerhouses the X-Men could have in the movie, Anna Paquin’s Rogue is notably missing.

The hero has the ability to absorb the powers of those she comes into contact with, which is one of the most interesting skills a superhero could have. However, since her main power is temporary and relies on others, she ranks last for now.

14

America Chavez

Last Appeared In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness (2022)

Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez has proven herself as one of the most important heroes when it comes to the multiverse. That is because America has the power to travel through different universes.

All she has to do is punch a hole in the fabric of space and time. That power was coveted by Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch in the Doctor Strange sequel, which means Doctor Doom could also find it interesting.

13

She-Hulk

Last Appeared In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (2022)

While America Chavez has multiverse powers, she is still fairly young. She-Hulk, on the other hand, has the same powers as the Hulk. Jennifer Walters also had no problem learning the ropes from Bruce Banner.

The true potential of the character has yet to be unlocked.

Still, She-Hulk’s fights have not been as large-scale as most of the other heroes on the list. As such, the true potential of the character has yet to be unlocked. For that, she ranks this low.

12

ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool

Last Appeared In ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine (2024)

Ryan Reynolds’ ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool is a powerful character. He has one of the best healing factors when it comes to Marvel characters, is a fantastic marksman, great at hand-to-hand combat, and is masterful with his katanas.

The reason ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool ranks this low on the list is due to the sheer scope of the powers of the missing Avengers: Doomsday characters. While ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool is resourceful and has a great healing factor, the others surpᴀss his might.

11

Wolverine

Last Appeared In ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine (2024)

Like ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool, Wolverine also has a healing factor, which is likely the most well-known among Marvel heroes. Fox’s X-Men movies have shown just how much of a brutal and capable fighter Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is.

With his Adamantium claws, healing factor, and vast experience with the X-Men, Wolverine is a match for most characters he faces. Like ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool, the reason he ranks towards the bottom of the list is due to how his powers are more contained.

10

Monica Rambeau

Last Appeared In The Marvels (2023)

Starting with Monica Rambeau, the Avengers: Doomsday missing members list gets really interesting. She is incredibly powerful, having her DNA changed by the Scarlet Witch’s Hex in Westview. Now, Monica Rambeau’s power levels are among the MCU’s highest.

Monica Rambeau could have ranked higher if she had more experience.

Monica has a long list of powers, which include the ability to fly, become intangible, blast energy from her fists, and more skills related to the “electromagnetic spectrum.” Monica also closed a multiversal rift alone.

9

Spider-Man

Last Appeared In Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

Spider-Man is the most popular MCU hero. That said, his power levels are still underrated despite his popularity. Peter Parker’s super-strength sits on the MCU’s top shelf, and his acrobatic skills are second to none.

Spider-Man’s intelligence, web shooters, and technological suits also make him formidable. Spider-Man also held his own against Thanos for some time, which few heroes can say. He has defeated many powerful villains and is experienced in the multiverse, which is a plus for Avengers: Doomsday.

8

White Vision

Last Appeared In WandaVision (2021)

White Vision has not had much screen time in the MCU. However, he possesses the same abilities as Paul Bettany’s original Vision. That means the character has super strength, can fly, can become intangible, can fire energy beams from his forehead, and more.

Since he is not powered by an Infinity Stone on his forehead, it remains to be seen how powerful White Vision could be. The character returns in the same year as Avengers: Doomsday, leading the MCU’s Vision series.

7

Storm

Last Appeared In X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014)

Storm is an Omega-level mutant. That means she is easily one of the most powerful X-Men out there, and her missing from Avengers: Doomsday when so many others return is surprising. Storm controls the weather.

She can bend it to her will, using the winds and thunder primarily to destroy her enemies. Storm can also fly, has heightened senses, and is an accomplished leader. Halle Berry’s Storm is extremely powerful.

6

Clea

Last Appeared In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness (2022)

Charlize Theron’s Clea still has to show her powers in the MCU. Fans only got a brief look at them when Clea slashed the air and opened a rift from Earth-616 to the Dark Dimension.

Clea’s power to travel through different dimensions is her only one showcased so far. However, she is a powerful magic user in the comics. Clea has even become the Sorcerer Supreme, so her MCU power level should be high.
