New images for Jurᴀssic World Rebirth show off a scared Scarlett Johansson and present a closer look at the mosasaurus. Three years after Jurᴀssic World Dominion, the upcoming Jurᴀssic World Rebirth is meant to start a new era for the franchise. The story will follow Johansson’s Zora Bennett, who recruits a team to travel to the island which was the research facility for the original Jurᴀssic Park to retrieve DNA from the biggest dinosaurs of the land, air, and sea. In addition to Johansson, the movie’s cast includes Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, and Rupert Friend.

Ahead of the film’s July 2025 release, ScreenRant presents two new images for Jurᴀssic World Rebirth. The first image sees Zora on the ground while refueling a vehicle, looking terrified as she stares at something off-screen. Jurᴀssic World Rebirth Looks Like A Thrilling Movie

The trailers for Jurᴀssic World Rebirth don’t hide the fact that Zora and her team’s mission is very risky. While she initially appears confident about the mission, it is clear that the characters will find themselves in a lot of dangerous situations while exploring the new island. The first image doesn’t reveal what Zora is looking at, but it’s likely a dangerous dinosaur, such as a raptor, or even the mutant dinosaur that has been teased in the trailers. Whatever it is, it’s clear that the dinosaurs in Jurᴀssic World Rebirth will pose a major threat to all the characters.

Moving onto the second image, since the mosasaurus is likely the biggest dinosaur of the sea in Jurᴀssic World Rebirth, Zora and her team will have to obtain its DNA. The trailers have teased a major set piece involving the mosasaurus and several spinosaurus, who are returning to the franchise for the first time since Jurᴀssic Park III. Out of all the action scenes teased in the trailers, this is perhaps the most life-threatening since the characters are more vulnerable on the water. Therefore, this image proves that the mosasaurus will be a major threat in Jurᴀssic World Rebirth.

Jurᴀssic World Rebirth has a great cast and an incredible director, which gives me hope that it will recapture the magic of the original Jurᴀssic Park. Everything I have seen about the movie has impressed me, and Jurᴀssic World Rebirth is undoubtedly one of my most anticipated movies of the summer. These new images only make me more excited for the film, which will hopefully be the best Jurᴀssic World movie in years. Therefore, it’s great to see new images for Jurᴀssic World Rebirth ahead of its release.
