What This Means For Masters of the Universe
Teela’s Bodysuit Is Reminiscent Of Her Character In The Animated Series
Teela’s costumes have gone through a few changes over the years, but the color pattern of gold and white has stayed consistent. As seen in the first set of images, Teela’s bodysuit is mostly faithful to the original animated series, paired with a few modern updates, similar to Galitzine’s He-Man costume designs and the Sword of Grayskull, which can be seen in the set pH๏τos as well. Previously, behind-the-scenes footage has teased cartoon-accurate designs and a blend of practical and visual effects.
While the full plot is still under wraps, the new Masters of the Universe is an original movie that tells a revamped origin story for Prince Adam. Several details released have confirmed that, despite the main storyline focusing on the character’s fight against Skeletor to save the planet of Eternia, some parts of the movie will take place on Earth. This may include some of the scenes glimpsed in the most recent set images.
Our Take On Teela’s Costume Reveal In The New Masters Of The Universe Movie
I Hope We Get To See More
Teela’s bodysuit looks awesome in the new set pH๏τos, and hopefully, with filming underway, fans will get to see more set pH๏τos of other characters, especially Jared Leto’s Skeletor, whose costume designs have only been teased but have yet to be revealed. There are also many interesting characters to look forward to in this movie, including James Purefoy’s King Randor, Charlotte Riley’s Queen Marlena, Jon Xue Zhang’s Ram Man, and Kojo Attah’s Tri-Klops.
Amazon MGM reportedly has a production budget just below $200 million for the new Masters of the Universe movie, which means that the studio will spare no expenses. However, despite it being a big-budget movie with some space elements, it seems that the movie is focused on authenticity and pays homage to the original animated series.
