ScreenRant can exclusively reveal a new image for Nobody 2. The movie is a follow-up to Bob Odenkirk’s 2021 action movie Nobody, which first introduced Hutch Mansell, a family man who gets inadvertently wrapped up with a Russian crime boss after a burglar gets into his house. Nobody 2 will see Hutch return to his violent ways after another harrowing event. The sequel is directed by Timo Tjahjanto and features a leading cast including Odenkirk, Christopher Lloyd, Sharon Stone, Colin Hanks, and Michael Ironside. It is set to release in theaters on August 15.
As part of our Summer 2025 Movie Preview, ScreenRant can now exclusively reveal a new image from Nobody 2. The sH๏τ shows Hutch in an elevator, with his nose bloodied. Despite his appearance, it seems that the protagonist has won his harrowing battle. There are three people around him scattered throughout the elevator looking bloody, tired, or in otherwise bad shape, showing their defeat. Check out the image below:
What This Means For Nobody 2
One Villain’s Details Are Still Unknown
This Nobody 2 image shows some of the antagonists that Hutch will face in the sequel. These people are most likely characters teased in the Nobody 2 CinemaCon trailer. In the footage, Hutch is described as standing in an elevator and asking his fellow riders, “You guys have fun at the convention?” but the small talk is soon interrupted by Hutch deciding to fight everyone present. This image seems to be the result of the elevator fight, as Hutch has been able to successfully take down his foes.
These elevator enemies are not the only antagonists in Nobody 2. Stone will play one of the main villains. She is a franchise newcomer, making her Nobody debut alongside Hanks and John Ortiz. Though her character is identified as the main antagonist, further details about Stone’s character have yet to be revealed. The image does not include the iconic actor, but it does give a sense of the kind of action that will appear in Nobody 2.
Our Take On The Nobody 2 Image
Nobody Will Still Be Compared To John Wick, But That’s Okay
The first Nobody movie was heavily compared to John Wick, most likely due to it also being in the one-person army action subgenre. This latest image also warrants comparison, having a familiar energy as our protagonist can be seen surrounded by a sea of those he has taken down. The similarities are not inherently negative, however, as Nobody 2 takes a John Wick-like story and subs in an ordinary man protagonist, making the plot consistently compelling. Based on this image, I have faith that the sequel could be another good franchise entry.
