Alan Ritchson shares a behind-the-scenes preview of his upcoming action movie from The Expendables 4 director Scott Waugh. Having appeared in Smallville and Blue Mountain State, Ritchson eventually became recognizable for his more action-packed movies and TV series. Over the years, he portrayed Gloss from District 1 in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Raphael in the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He later joined the Fast & Furious franchise, starring opposite Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and more in Fast X and had a main role in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
Ritchson also appeared as vigilante Hank Hall during three seasons of тιтans, which premiered on DC Universe in 2018 before moving to HBO Max. However, he is most famously known for Reacher, the Prime Video series exploring a former military police officer and his various investigations. Throughout that show, Jack Reacher was part of many intense and memorable action sequences, including a dangerous stairwell brawl and a vicious hand-to-hand fight against Paulie in season 3, demonstrating his ability to perform stunts.

Production Has Started For The Upcoming Action Movie
Now, Ritchson is collaborating with Waugh, who directed The Expendables 4 and Need for Speed, on an upcoming action movie. Runner will follow Hank Malone, a courier for a high-end shipping service, who is given a short window of time for transferring a liver between two Australian cities. Along with Ritchson, who is also producing the film, the cast includes Owen Wilson, Leila George, Rodrigo Santoro, Geraldine Hakewill, Sullivan Stapleton, and Adriana Barraza. While additional details, including a potential release date, remain unknown, production on Runner has already started.
Ritchson recently took to Instagram, posting some behind-the-scenes content for Runner. The reel features pH๏τos of him on set, including one where someone appears to be tending to his arm.
