The John Wick franchise has found a new streaming home, ahead of the impending release of the upcoming spinoff movie, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. The franchise began with 2014’s sleeper-hit John Wick, an action-thriller starring Keanu Reeves as a former hitman coming out of retirement to exact revenge on the Russian mafia. Its success spawned the John Wick movie franchise, which, to date, consists of four feature films, as well as the TV miniseries, The Continental.

With the impending release of Ballerina, there should be plenty of hype for the movie, and this will no doubt encourage audiences to revisit the original John Wick movies beforehand, so they are up to date with the lore and mythology.
The move will be instrumental in reinvigorating interest in the world of John Wick before the franchise continues its theatrical journey, and the movies could have a long stint on Peacock.
