Murder at Yellowstone City is an interesting cross between a classic Western setting and characters and a murder mystery plot. The movie begins with a classic set-up: Robert Dunnigan strikes gold just as his boomtown needs it most, but the next morning, he is found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. With the local sheriff already going down the wrong path, it is up to the town’s pastor and his wife to bring the true killer to justice.

There is certainly no shortage of drama and deceit in Murder at Yellowstone City, which is aided by the performances of its leads. Though Murder at Yellowstone City received poor reviews for its use of Western stereotypes and predictable dialogue, the movie is nonetheless entertaining.
