Knives Out 3 Footage Reveals New Look At Daniel Craig’s Changed Benoit Blanc

New footage has been revealed for Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man. The film is the third movie in the Knives Out franchise, and will see the return of eccentric detective Benoit Blanc, attempting to solve his most dangerous case yet. Daniel Craig will return as Benoit Blanc, with a supporting cast that includes Josh Brolin, Cailee Spaeny, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Andrew Scott, Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Josh O’Connor, and Thomas Haden Church. The film is expected to be released later this year.

Now, the Netflix Tudum trailer has revealed new footage for Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man. The trailer began by hyping Netflix’s live Tudum event, which will take place on May 31 at 8:00pm EST. The trailer included sH๏τs from One Piece, Wednesday, and Squid Game. A sH๏τ revealed a new look at Blanc in a distinct outfit from the previous two films. He wears a brown trenchcoat and dark sunglᴀsses, while standing in a forest amidst gravestones.

What This Means For Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man: A Knives Out Mystery

Benoit Blanc Has Another Iconic Outfit

Benoit Blanc is a standout character for several reasons, including his unusual accent and idiosyncratic demeanor. Among his most iconic qualities are his outfits. Previous costumes for the character have included suits and a pinstripe bathing suit for Glᴀss Onion. In some ways, his newest outfit design looks more similar to that of a conventional cartoon detective one would see in The Pink Panther or Inspector Gadget. This could indicate something about the tone of Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man.

Despite the new costume reveal, there is still very little known about the plot of the third Knives Out movie. As in the case of Glᴀss Onion, Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man is slated to have a completely different cast from its predecessors, with the exception of Craig’s Blanc. Only showing an image of Benoit Blanc, Netflix’s latest tease does very little by way of revealing information about the third film in the franchise. This leaves a lot to look forward to.

Our Take On The Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man Sneak Peek

The Setting Could Be A Good Change Of Pace

Benoit Blanc is in a church in Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man A Knives Out Story

Since the plot has not been revealed, the exact setting of Wake Up ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man is under wraps. A previous image showed Craig and O’Connor in a church, suggesting religion might play a role in the story. The forest setting in this most recent look has me more intrigued about the next Knives Out movie. The second film took place in an island setting, so any such environment would be a big change from the previous movie, mirroring Benoit Blanc’s huge shift in style.
