I Hope Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Introduces Knuckles’ Own (Very Underrated) Version Of Team Sonic

Even though he is already part of Team Sonic, Knuckles could potentially lead his own team in Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Even though Knuckles was initially introduced as a villain in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, he found redemption in that film and has since become an important member of Team Sonic. Not only do Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails save the world together, but they also treat each other like family. After the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, it seems like Team Sonic will add at least one new member.

In the post-credits scene of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Amy Rose and Metal Sonic were both introduced. While Metal Sonic will likely be the villain of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Amy Rose will work with Sonic and the other characters. However, since a lot of screen time will be dedicated to Amy Rose, it’s possible that Knuckles will have a smaller role. This would be disappointing, since he was also sidelined in Sonic 3. Therefore, I hope Knuckles can lead his own team in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Should Introduce The Chaotix

Vector The Crocodile, Espio The Chameleon, & Charmy Bee Make Up Team Chaotix

After their introduction in the post-credits scene of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, I think it’s likely that Sonic 4 will dedicate a significant amount of time to Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. Additionally, Shadow was also revealed to still be alive at the end of Sonic 3. Therefore, he may also take up screen time in the upcoming fourth film. This means that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will have a lot of characters to juggle. Despite this, I really hope that the members of Team Chaotix also have a role in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 presents the perfect opportunity to focus more on anthropomorphic creatures, rather than human characters.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog video games, Team Chaotix is a trio of detectives which consists of Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy Bee. In addition to Amy Rose and Metal Sonic, I believe these are three characters that would fit into the Sonic movie series perfectly. Now that Ivo Robotnik is possibly ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and will not return, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 presents the perfect opportunity to focus more on anthropomorphic creatures, rather than human characters.

Knuckles’ Chaotix, Explained

Knuckles Has Worked With Team Chaotix In The Video Games

Team Chaotix made their first appearance in Knuckles’ Chaotix, which is a spinoff video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series that was released in 1995. In the game, Knuckles aligns himself with the members of Team Chaotix while trying to take down Dr. Eggman, who is trying to obtain the Master Emerald on a mysterious island. In the game, it is great to see Knuckles work with characters other than Sonic and Tails, as he is able to thrive in more of a leadership role.

In the Sonic franchise, Vector is a music-loving crocodile who started the Chaotix Detective Agency with his two best friends, Espio and Charmy Bee. Espio the Chameleon is an intelligent spy and ninja warrior, so it would be great to see him in action in the movies. Meanwhile, Charmy Bee is an energetic anthropomorphic bee who loves to annoy his coworkers. All of these characters are very entertaining in the video games, so it would be great to see Knuckles potentially lead them in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

How Knuckles’ Chaotix Could Fit Into Sonic The Hedgehog 4

Knuckles & Team Chaotix Could Fight Metal Sonic In Sonic 4

Since Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy Bee were first introduced in a game which centered on Knuckles, it would make sense for the echidna to also help introduce them in the movie series. Working with Team Chaotix would also give Knuckles more to do in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which would be great since he didn’t have the biggest role in the third film. However, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 likely won’t closely adapt the Knuckles’ Chaotix video game, especially since Ivo Robotnik may not return.

Since Ivo Robotnik, also known as Dr. Eggman, may not be the main villain of Sonic 4, Knuckles and the members of Team Chaotix will have to be on a different mission. Metal Sonic also appeared in Knuckles’ Chaotix, so it is possible that Knuckles and Team Chaotix could take him on in the fourth film. Overall, Vector, Espio, and Charmy Bee are all fantastic characters, so I’m sure the writers of the film could give them something fun to do alongside Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
