What This Means For Mountainhead
The Movie Is By The Succession Creator
The director’s background should come as no surprise. Armstrong is the creator of Succession, the Emmy-winning, four-season series about the uber-rich Roy family’s media empire and the siblings’ power grabs. Both projects tackle the experiences of the mega-wealthy head-on. Mountainhead clearly explores the compeтιтive spirit between these billionaire friends, and how they quickly fall out of touch with the real world.
The trailer and images reveal some of the main ideas about Mountainhead. In the trailer, Schwartzman’s character asks his friends if they are still ready to play a game of poker and one of the images shows him playing poker. The trailer and images also emphasize the snowy, mountain setting, which will likely play a pivotal role in the film.
Our Take On The Mountainhead Trailer
The Cast Could Make This Movie Shine
Mountainhead brings together talented actors from disparate backgrounds. Youssef and Smith are not afraid to be inflammatory, while Schwartzman is trying to keep everyone and everything together. Carell is strong-willed and opinionated, making his viewpoints clash easily with his friends. This talent has what it takes to rise to the occasion and make Mountainhead a thoroughly entertaining and dramatic film.
