Based on the description for Superman: Welcome to Metropolis, fans will get a chance to see how Clark settles in when moving to Metropolis, potentially even revealing how he ends up getting his job at The Daily Planet. Superman: Welcome to Metropolis will seemingly reveal how the Man of Steel and Lex Luthor end up as rivals prior to the Superman movie. However, the novel may also explore how some of Clark’s other key relationships are established, especially with characters like Lois Lane.
The one aspect that may have some readers curious is how Superman: Welcome to Metropolis is labeling Clark as a “metahuman,” despite the fact that he is an alien.
