Wuthering Heights Set PH๏τos Reveal Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff & Margot Robbie In All Black

Wuthering Heights set pH๏τos reveal Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff and Margot Robbie dressed all in black. The upcoming film is based on the classic 1847 novel by Emily Brontë and written for the screen and directed by Emerald Fennell, the Oscar-winning filmmaker known for Promising Young Woman and Saltburn. The Wuthering Heights adaptation stars Elordi, reuniting the two after Saltburn, opposite Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw. Robbie also produces via her company, LuckyChap Entertainment, after previously producing Promising Young Woman and Saltburn.

Now, via Vogue, set pH๏τos from Wuthering Heights reveal the first look at Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff and Margot Robbie, who are both dressed all in black. There are a total of two pH๏τos, one showing Elordi’s Heathcliff and Robbie’s Catherine at a funeral, and the other showing a close-up of the former, who has a gold tooth. What The Wuthering Heights Set PH๏τos Mean For The Movie

Everything Revealed By The PH๏τos

Wuthering Heights follows the turbulent relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. In the book, Heathcliff is described as a seriously attractive man, so much so that their love is deep and obsessive. While Elordi can certainly fit that bill, the set pH๏τos show his version of Heathcliff with a goofy smile, muttonchops, and even a gold tooth, which doesn’t seem to capture the raw, untamed allure that the character is supposed to have. So far, it seems like Emerald Fennell is heading in a slightly different direction with Heathcliff.

Otherwise, the set pH๏τos seem to show Heathcliff and Catherine at a funeral, as they are both wearing black, standing among several mourners in a graveyard in front of a church. It’s unclear whose funeral this could be, since there are several deaths in Wuthering Heights, and though the funerals aren’t always described in detail and aren’t focal points, they are definitely part of the story’s grim atmosphere. Death and the idea of the grave are very present and tie into the novel’s gothic mood.

Our Take On The Wuthering Heights Set PH๏τos

Emerald Fennell’s Adaptation Isn’t Entirely Faithful

The Wuthering Heights set pH๏τos should continue to generate excitement for how Emerald Fennell will reinterpret the classic novel. Though Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff doesn’t appear to be totally faithful to the book, or the period for that matter, all signs seem to point to Fennell’s Wuthering Heights embracing a bolder and more contemporary version of the material, rather than a traditional adaptation. Like Saltburn, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights could be filled with unforgettable moments.

Wuthering Heights is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026.
