Momoa finishing his scenes for Supergirl a month before the film is set to wrap makes sense. Though Lobo is an important DC character, he will not be the main antagonist of the film, and he may not have substantial scenes. Previously, Momoa told Screen Rant: “I just come in for a little bit.As for whether Lobo will return to the DCU, he simply offered: “I hope so.

Despite his limited screen time in Supergirl, Momoa has made it clear that he wants to continue in the role. The actor teased Lobo as “the most badᴀss bounty hunter in the galaxy,” further expressing how much he loved the character. He elaborated:If we’re going to typecast me in anything, let’s put me in Lobo. Motorcycles, smoking cigars, partying, dreadlocks… loves a fight, funny. His videos celebrating completing his scenes perfectly channeled the energy he describes Lobo as having.

Our Take On Jason Momoa’s Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow Filming Update

Jason Momoa’s Lobo Might Just Be A Scene-Stealer

Clearly, Momoa is excited to play Lobo in Supergirl, and his decades of being a fan of the character might just pay off. Regardless of the amount of time Momoa is onscreen, Lobo will likely be a memorable part of the film. Additionally, given how early in the DCU the movie will be released, Lobo’s appearance in Supergirl might set the stage for Momoa to return in the role, either opposite Superman and Supergirl or in a solo project.
