It will take place a decade after The Reestablishment’s demise, and it will follow Aaron Warner’s younger brother, James, as he deals with the remains of the oppressive regime by finding his way to its last stronghold: Ark Island.

There, James will meet Rosabelle, who has become a weapon of the Reestablishment, offering a similar enemies-to-lovers dynamic to the original series. Watch Me is easily one of the most exciting new releases of April, and for some readers, it will no doubt be among the biggest fantasy books of 2025. After all, the last Shatter Me book came out back in 2020 (with the most recent novella arriving in 2021).
