New The Life Of Chuck Image Gives A Look At M3GAN Star In Upcoming Stephen King Adaptation

A new image has been revealed for The Life of Chuck. The film is the latest Stephen King adaptation from director Mike Flanagan. The Life of Chuck is a genre-bending drama that chronicles the story of a man’s life in reverse. After debuting to strong reviews and winning the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, The Life of Chuck is set to release in theaters on June 6. It features a star-studded leading cast including Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, Matthew Lillard, Nick Offerman, David Dastmachian, Jacob Tremblay, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Violet McGraw.

Collider has now revealed a new image from The Life of Chuck. The image is a still featuring Ejiofor and McGraw. Standing on a dark neighborhood road, the actors shoot concerned glances each other’s way. McGraw wears a helmet and gloves. Check out the image below:

What This Means For The Life Of Chuck

Violet McGraw Will Re-Team With Mike Flanagan

Violet McGraw Haunting of Hill House young Nell

Best known for playing Cady in M3GAN, McGraw has a great career opportunity with The Life of Chuck. The 13-year-old has worked with Flanagan before, playing young Nell in The Haunting of Hill House in one of her first on-screen roles. She then went on to play Violet in Doctor Sleep, connecting her with Flanagan’s King adaptations. Her third collaboration with Flanagan, The Life of Chuck will be a great chance for McGraw to develop this working relationship.

In her review of The Life of Chuck after TIFF, ScreenRant‘s Mae Abdulbaki gave the movie 8 out of 10 stars, saying it “successfully mixes genre.”

As for her role in The Life of Chuck, few character details have been revealed about McGraw’s Lily. It is known, however, that Ejiofor will play a schoolteacher named Marty Anderson. Marty has the goal of opening up the minds of America’s youth, encouraging them to look beyond the internet. With Marty in this new The Life of Chuck image as well, it seems likely that Lily could be one of his students. The scene between the two will take place when the world is falling apart for reasons unknown to them, likely leading to their tense-looking conversation.

Our Take On This New The Life Of Chuck Images

The Life Of Chuck Has Another Major Young Performer

This latest The Life of Chuck image gives a look at one of the film’s young performers. While the main characters will be played by adults, there will also be key roles played by younger actors. 18-year-old Jacob Tremblay, for example, is playing the younger version of Hiddleston’s Chuck Krantz in the movie. Tremblay has also worked with Flanagan previously in Doctor Sleep. Tremblay is featured in The Life of Chuck teaser trailer, hinting his role will be significant. As shown in the image with McGraw, Flanagan often likes working with the same actors in his projects.
