What Michelle Randolph Is Doing Next After 1923

Warning: MINOR SPOILERS For 1923 Season 2’s Finale – “A Dream and a Memory”Michelle Randolph has two exciting projects lined up coming off her role as Elizabeth Strafford in 1923. Taylor Sheridan’s Prohibition-era Yellowstone prequel has wrapped up its second season with an epic two-hour finale. 1923 season 2 concluded with Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) returning to Montana to save the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. 1923‘s season 2’s ending wrapped up the stories of its major characters and, thankfully, Elizabeth survived the bloodshed at the Yellowstone.

Huntington Beach, California, native Michelle Randolph made her acting debut in 2017’s House of the Witch, in which she starred with her 1923 co-star, Darren Mann. Randolph’s breakout came when Taylor Sheridan cast her as Elizabeth Strafford in 1923, where she shared the screen with legends like Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Michelle’s star rose even higher when she joined another Sheridan-produced TV series, Landman, which became a hit on Paramount+. With 1923 now over, here’s where audiences can see Michelle Randolph next.

Michelle Randolph joined the cast of Scream 7, as reported by ᴅᴇᴀᴅline on March 10, 2025. The next Scream movie underwent a creative overhaul after the departures of Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin. Scream 7′s original director, Christopher Landon, also departed and was replaced by Scream‘s creator, Kevin Williamson, who brought back Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, along with Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Roger L. Jackson, David Arquette, Scott Foley, and Skeet Ulrich.

Scream 7 marks Michelle Randolph’s first major feature film role, and builds on her previous horror movie experience in Syfy’s House of the Witch. Randolph’s character and the details of her role in Scream 7 aren’t known, but Michelle adding her talents to a stellar cast in one of Hollywood’s biggest horror movie franchises is an exciting proposition. There is also the thrilling potential of Michelle Randolph perhaps playing the villainous Ghostface in Scream 7, if she’s not fleeing from and getting gorily knifed by the masked serial killer.

Michelle Randolph Will Return As Ainsley In Landman Season 2

Landman Season 2 Is In Production Now

Michelle Randolph is staying in Taylor Sheridan’s hit-making TV family when she returns for Landman season 2. In Landman, Randolph charms as Ainsley Norris, the seventeen-year-old daughter of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris. Michelle’s Landman co-stars include Ali Larter, Jacon Lofland, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore, Paulina Chavez, and Demi Moore, who has an expanded role in Landman season 2.

1923 coming to an end isn’t slowing Michelle Randolph down one bit.

Set in the volatile oil fields of West Texas, Landman emerged as a monster hit for Paramount+. Michelle Randolph’s role as the Sєxually charged, free-spirited Ainsley was a lightning rod of controversy in Landman season 1, but Ainsley is also a genuinely kind person with a heart of gold. With Landman season 2 currently in production and Scream 7 hitting movie theaters in February 2026, 1923 coming to an end isn’t slowing Michelle Randolph down one bit.
