All 5 Twilight Movies Are Coming To Netflix Very Soon With Release Date Revealed

All five films in the Twilight franchise will be available to stream on Netflix very soon. The Twilight movies are based on the immensely popular book series by Stephenie Meyer, and follow high school student Bella Swan, who gets caught up in a love triangle with Edward, a vampire, and Jacob, a werewolf. All the films in the franchise were released between 2008 and 2012 and were mᴀssive successes at the box office. The cast of the Twilight films include Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Netflix has revealed on Tudum that all the movies in the Twilight franchise will become available on the streaming service on May 1, 2025. This means that fans of the franchise can start their summer off by binging all the movies in the romance/supernatural fantasy series. While all the movies are currently streaming on Peacock, Netflix is a more suitable home since the streamer is also producing an animated Twilight TV series.

What Streaming On Netflix Means For The Twilight Franchise

The Twilight Movies Will Be On The Same Streaming Service As The Animated Show

Meyer’s series of novels was always popular but finally gained worldwide recognition after the first movie’s release in 2008. Even though none of the Twilight movies received very positive reviews, they were extremely popular and huge successes at the box office. In total, the franchise grossed $3.3 billion at the worldwide box office. The success of the movies led to Meyer returning to the world of the series with the 2020 novel Midnight Sun, which is what the upcoming animated Twilight series will be based on.

Midnight Sun is a companion book to the original Twilight novel and tells the same story through Edward’s perspective. Therefore, even though many of the same events will still take place in the animated series, it will be different from the movies. While the animated series doesn’t yet have a release date, it is currently in development, meaning now is the perfect time to rewatch the Twilight movies. Because of this, it is great that all the films in the series will be arriving on Netflix soon.

The Twilight movies may not have the greatest ratings, but they are all definitely entertaining films and are nostalgic for a lot of people. Since Netflix is producing the upcoming animated show, it only makes sense that all the films are also available on the streaming service. Since anticipation for the animated series will only grow in the coming months, I do not doubt that the Twilight movies will all rank very high on Netflix when they finally arrive on the streamer.
