Snow White is the latest Disney live-action remake that is based on the 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, one of the studios’ most iconic films of all time. Snow White is a musical fantasy film that sees a battle between good and evil occur as the eponymous princess is forced to leave her home after her evil stepmother attempts to kill her. While in the forest, Snow meets several allies, such as the Huntsman and the Seven Dwarfs, who help to protect her and also try to find a way to take down the Evil Queen.
Although the 1937 animated adaptation was nominated for Best Musical Score at the 10th Academy Awards, the movie’s story and characters have since come under scrutiny for lacking inclusivity and reinforcing stereotypes against minority groups. The company did take all these concerns into consideration and made sure that the Snow White cast is full of talented and diverse actors, who do an admirable job at bringing these landmark characters to life. Though it is worth mentioning that Snow White was plagued by several controversies that shaped the cast as a whole.

Snow White Seven Dwarfs Cast
Jeremy Swift as Doc: He is the intelligent leader of the Seven Dwarfs who helps provide shelter for Snow White once she flees into the forest after she learns that the queen wants her ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. He is also one of the more friendly dwarfs in the group, who can sometimes be a bit callous overall. Kravtis is most known as Richard Bay on The Practice.
George Salazar as Happy: No group is complete without the optimistic one, and Happy takes up that spot within the Seven Dwarfs, as he is known as the cheerful member of the group. Salazar is most known for his work on stage but he did star in Impeachment: American Crime Story.
