Black Panther 3 Can Give Michael B Jordan His Two Biggest Marvel Wishes, Including His MCU Dream Role

Michael B. Jordan could finally see his two Marvel Cinematic Universe dreams come true in the upcoming Black Panther 3. The MCU has had a lot of success with multiple hero franchises over the years. The Black Panther films have performed well at the box office and with critics, with 2018’s Black Panther being the first — and only — MCU movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. Black Panther 3 is confirmed to happen, and Jordan could return for the upcoming MCU movie.

The actor joined the franchise as Killmonger in Black Panther, serving as the main villain of the film. After he died at the end of the movie, Jordan returned as Killmonger for a cameo with Leтιтia Wright’s Shuri in the Ancestral Plane in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The MCU’s Multiverse Saga offers many different ways for how the actor could return to the franchise after appearing in two of the MCU’s best movies. Jordan’s return in Black Panther 3 could allow the actor to finally see his two biggest MCU dreams come true.

Michael B Jordan Could Become T’Challa In Black Panther 3

Marvel Studios May Finally Be Recasting The Role

In Marvel’s Black Panther: The Official Movie Special Book (via Bleeding Cool), Michael B. Jordan revealed that his childhood dream Marvel role was Black Panther. The actor revealed that he was a big Marvel fan growing up, with Jordan claiming he read comics and watched cartoons. When it came to Black Panther, Jordan was not only a fan of the hero who he says he looked up to, but also thought T’Challa was such a great character that he was the one he always dreamed of playing one day.

While he ended up giving life to Killmonger in the MCU and Chadwick Boseman played T’Challa, it seems like Black Panther 3 could bring in another version of the hero to the franchise. After Boseman’s untimely death, Marvel chose not to recast the role, and T’Challa died in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. However, recent MCU T’Challa recast reports claim that the studio is firmly open to recasting the role. Instead of a new actor playing the T’Challa Boseman brought to life, a multiverse Black Panther would be used. This allows Jordan, who played Killmonger, to be the multiverse T’Challa.

Black Panther 3 Finally Brings Denzel Washington To The MCU Years After Jordan Suggested It

The Hollywood Legend Was The First To Confirm The MCU Movie Was Happening

Denzel Washington let it slip that not only is Black Panther 3 happening, which has now been confirmed, but that director Ryan Coogler is writing a role for him. With the Hollywood legend joining the franchise, Michael B. Jordan could get his two Marvel dreams in Black Panther 3. Speaking with IMDB in 2022, Jordan not only claimed he wanted Washington to join the MCU, but said he had “some things in mind.” If Jordan is the MCU’s new rumored multiverse Black Panther, he and Washington could interact a lot in Black Panther 3, making his Marvel dreams come true.
