Set in an alternate version of the 1990s, the story follows Michelle (played by Millie Bobby Brown), a young woman on a quest to find her missing brother. In a world where reality and virtual landscapes blur together, Michelle is joined by a robotic companion named Skip, who helps her navigate the strange and dangerous world she must traverse.
As she journeys across a fragmented, dystopian America filled with decaying cities and abandoned technology, Michelle uncovers disturbing truths about a world where technology has spiraled out of control. The story explores themes of isolation, loss, and the consequences of over-relying on artificial intelligence, as Michelle faces both physical and emotional challenges on her way to finding her brother.
