Marvel Studios’ Blade (2025) introduces a bold and fresh take on the legendary vampire hunter, exploring the origins and legacy of the Daywalker while delivering the trademark action and intensity fans have come to expect. Mahershala Ali stars as Eric Brooks, a.k.a. The film opens with Blade tracking a new strain of vampires emerging from the ashes of ancient covens. These vampires, known as The Purebloods, are immune to sunlight and have developed the ability to infect humans on a mᴀssive scale. At the center of the chaos is Lilith (Mia Goth), a sinister and enigmatic vampire queen who seeks to unleash an ancient prophecy known as “The Crimson Dawn,” which would plunge the world into eternal darkness.
Blade teams up with Whistler (Delroy Lindo), his loyal mentor and weapons expert, as well as Dr. Elijah Cross (Aaron Pierre), a gifted hematologist who becomes an unexpected ally.
