Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Brings Black Symbiote Suit & Venom Action To Life In Perfect Concept Trailer

Following his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a new The Amazing Spider-Man 3 concept trailer pitches Andrew Garfield’s Marvel trilogy finale. As Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline brought every cinematic iteration of Spider-Man together in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been wanting to see more of both Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parkers. While Maguire got his own trilogy, Garfield is the only current Spider-Man star who never got his threequel, following The Amazing Spider-Man 3 getting canceled by Sony Pictures.

While the world is actively waiting to see if Garfield will ever suit up as the web-slinger again, Teaser Pro shared a new concept trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning, showcasing what the British actor’s third solo film could look like if Sony Pictures ever decided to resurrect his franchise. Check it out below:

In The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning concept trailer, Garfield’s Peter is seen still dealing with the loss of Gwen Stacy after her tragic death in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, before he gets his new black Symbiote costume. However, The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning story also imagines what it would be like for Garfield’s тιтular hero to deal with not just Venom but also numerous Symbiote creatures.

What Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Concept Trailer Means For Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker

Given the seeds that were planted in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it is not a surprise that fans still want to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which is why concept trailers continue to be created, showcasing other stories that are left to be told with Garfield’s hero. While The Amazing Spider-Man 3 was canceled, it wouldn’t have been shocking if the threequel was going to do some variation of the Venom symbiote storyline. The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning concept trailer also showcases Garfield’s Peter dealing further with the loss of Gwen, and how to go on without her.

Sony Pictures have yet to commit to The Amazing Spider-Man 3, with their primary focus instead being Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4, as filming is set to start this year. However, while Garfield’s Spider-Man may not get his own trilogy conclusion, that doesn’t rule out Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios trying to find other ways to bring his version of the Marvel icon back. This seems most likely to be in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars, as it is far more likely that Garfield will be in one of those films than The Amazing Spider-Man 3 ever getting greenlit.

Our Take On Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Concept Trailer

Andrew Garfield returning as Spider-Man in 2021's Spider-Man No Way Home

The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning concept trailer makes a solid case for how terrific it would be to see Garfield finally get his third movie, especially if it is for a crucial arc like him getting the black suit and finally dealing with Venom. Even if said film doesn’t happen, it would be great if a possible return in The Multiverse Saga lets Garfield’s Spider-Man tackle that arc in one way or another. Unless Sony Pictures ever decides to go forward with The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Garfield’s third installment will unfortunately remain one of the many unproduced superhero films in Hollywood.
