Casting announcements for Spider-Man 4 have officially begun with the confirmation of Sadie Sink’s undisclosed MCU role, but it may still take a while for Marvel Studios to confirm Spider-Man 4‘s full cast and plot, let alone its main antagonist. However, at this point in the movie’s development, the studios might have contacted potential candidates for this role. If Spider-Man 4‘s main villain isn’t Wilson Fisk, Marvel may already have chosen a different antagonist, but their casting process may not be finished yet.

In the case that Marvel and Sony do plan to give Wilson Fisk the main (or secondary) antagonist role in Spider-Man 4, it’s possible that Vincent D’Onofrio hasn’t signed a contract yet, or that the studios prefer to keep his return a secret.
