The DCU’s Chapter 1: “Gods and Monsters” will focus on both of DC’s famous Kryptonians, as Superman and Supergirl’s movies are both confirmed to debut in this early stage of the franchise. James Gunn’s Superman movie is set to arrive this summer, and July 2026 will put the spotlight on the Girl of Steel through Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

During a recent DCU press event, for which ScreenRant was in attendance, Gunn revealed that Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently midway through its principal pH๏τography. While Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will see Alcock headline the film, there have been rumors of Kara making her DCU debut in Gunn’s Superman movie.
