Morbius Cast & Marvel Character Guide

Morbius was the third film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, following in the footsteps of Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Released in 2022, the movie was directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and it tells the origin of Doctor Michael Morbius turning into the тιтular Living Vampire, a relatively well-known Spider-Man villain. Like most of the movies in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, Morbius was poorly received upon release, and the movie positioned Morbius as an anti-hero rather than a full-blown villain.

Despite the lackluster reception to Morbius, it is still filled with incredible actors, who give their best throughout the movie. Led by Jared Leto as the тιтular character, Morbius tells the story of a dying doctor who turns himself into a vampire after attempting to cure his rare blood disease. Being slightly smaller scale than most superhero fare, Morbius’ cast is a bit smaller, with only a handful of characters having a significant role.
