Blake Lively And Anna Kendrick Reunite In Glamorous Another Simple Favor Images

Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are reunited in glamorous new pH๏τos from the upcoming thriller Another Simple Favor. A sequel to the hit black comedy mystery film A Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig, and based on the novel by Darcey Bell, follows a small-town mom and vlogger who investigates the mysterious disappearance of her best friend. A Simple Favor’s cast includes Lively, Kendrick, Dennis Holding, and Linda Cardellini, and the two leads will reprise their roles as Emily and Stephanie in the upcoming sequel, which is set to release on Prime Video on May 1.

Entertainment Weekly has dropped new images from the upcoming movie, that show various characters enjoying the stunning Capri surroundings. Among the most prominent images, Lively’s Emily descends a flight of stairs, dressed in a black and white outfit that captures her stylish nature, complete with an enormous hat. Meanwhile, in another image, Kendrick’s Stephanie looks smart and sophisticated in a green jumpsuit, as she clutches a martini and looks pensively ahead. The pH๏τos hint at sophistication and glamor, and show both women are in different places in their lives. Check out the images below:

What These Mean For Another Simple Favor

Viewers Can Expect Stunning Surroundings To Accompany Their Murder Mystery

Another Simple Favor sees Kendrick’s character Stephanie unexpectedly travel to Capri for the wedding of estranged former best friend, Lively’s Emily, who was last seen heading to prison for 20 years for a double murder following A Simple Favor‘s twist ending. However, the pH๏τos show that Emily is very much free, and is even tying the knot with her new fiancé on the stunning island of Capri. Emily’s style is on full display here, and contrasts well with the pinstriped power suits she wore in the first movie. Dressing to impress and intimidate is perfectly fitting with Emily’s character.

Stephanie’s stunning green jumpsuit also juxtaposes well with her suburban mom image, but the fact she has become a more confident and prominent individual is mirrored by the way she chooses to dress. The images paint the perfect picture of Feig’s mystery thriller sequel, taking things up a notch, to a more epic, stylish, and intriguing movie. The small-town suburban feel of the first movie is now counterbalanced with the sprawling and epic beauty of Capri, which will be the backdrop to more murder and betrayal.
