The Accountant 2 is the second chapter in director Gavin O’Connor’s proposed trilogy of movies about Ben Affleck’s genius money-laundering accountant on the autism spectrum, Christian Wolff. After months of build-up and speculation, the latest news arrives in the form of the first trailer for The Accountant 2. The action-packed sequel’s full trailer opens with a bang as it reveals right away that J.K. Simmons’ Ray King has been killed. This brings Christian into the mix as “The Accountant” teams up with Marybeth to get to the bottom of Ray’s murder. Along the way, they bring on Christian’s estranged brother, Braxton, who reluctantly joins the crew and brings his gunslinging skills with him.
