Is Train To Busan On Netflix, Hulu, Or Prime? Where To Watch Online

Nearly a decade after its release, Train To Busan remains a widely popular horror ride that many people are always seeking out on streaming, whether it be to finally watch the acclaimed movie for the first time or to rewatch it. The Korean film is directed by Yeon Sang-ho and follows a group of people aboard a speeding train heading to Busan only for a zombie outbreak to quickly take over, turning most of the pᴀssengers into mindless and hungry monsters.

Train To Busan grossed $2.1 million in the U.S. and Canada, and became the highest-grossing Korean film in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Along with strong reviews, it garnered several awards and nominations following its release and spawned two follow-up movies. Despite the zombie movie genre being around for decades, Train to Busan was seen as one of the films to breathe new life into the genre while delivering an intense, chaotic, and emotional thrill ride. Needless to say, the movie has become a favorite on streaming since its release.

Where To Watch Train To Busan

Train To Busan Has Arrived On Netflix

Fans looking to watch Train to Busan at home are in luck as the acclaimed zombie movie is currently available on a number of streaming platforms. Subscribers of Prime Video, Tubi, and the Roku Channel can all watch Train to Busan right now. Unfortunately, the film is being removed from its streaming home on Peacock, but that makes room for it being added to Netflix on February 11. Not only does Train to Busan have a new streaming home on Netflix, but it is also being joined by its sequel Peninsula.

Released in 2020, Peninsula serves very much as a standalone sequel to Train to Busan, following all new characters. It features a storyline similar to Zack Snyder’s Army of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, following a former soldier who joins a mercenary team going into the remains of South Korea to retrieve some money left behind while contending with the zombies, the human militia living there, and a lone family trying to survive. While the sequel did not live up to the success of Train to Busan, it is worth watching alongside the original now that they are both on Netflix.
