Rambo: Last Blood Cast & Character Guide

Rambo: Last Blood brought back Sylvester Stallone in the тιтular role and also introduced several new faces to the ongoing franchise. Directed by Adrian Grunberg, Rambo: Last Blood marks the fifth installment in the Rambo movie series. First Blood kicked off the Rambo cinematic franchise in 1982 with characters based on David Morrell’s 1972 novel of the same name. Sylvester Stallone plays a Vietnam veteran, John Rambo, struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

In his past, the character not only experienced war but was tortured by Viet Cong soldiers. Incidentally, Rambo’s unresolved issues lead to conflict with American authorities. Two movie sequels were released during the ‘80s, and the fourth chapter, Rambo, came out in 2008. Rambo: Last Blood features the protagonist’s attempts to rescue his beloved friend’s granddaughter from a Mexican Sєx trafficking ring. The Rambo film franchise has a unique legacy of actors and actresses, and Rambo: Last Blood adds to that growing list.
