It quickly becomes clear to Andy that he doesn’t know how to handle being a single father to his kids, and he asks his estranged 36-year-old daughter Grace (Mila Kunis) for help.
Grace has a tense relationship with Andy as he was also working when she was a kid, so she was mostly raised by her mother, Ann (Andie MacDowell). Grace agrees to help Andy, despite still having a lot of resentment towards him, and they begin to talk more and connect as they had never before. Goodrich was well-received by critics and grossed $1.9 million at the box office, though its budget is unknown.
