Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Prepares For Battle Against Jason Momoa’s Lobo In Stunning DCU Movie Concept Poster

A new Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow concept poster sets up Milly Alcock’s showdown as Kara Zor-El against Jason Momoa’s Lobo in the DC Universe. While David Corenswet’s Superman movie will arrive in theaters this summer, the DCU timeline is not wasting any time when it comes to the Kryptonian family, as the Girl of Steel is also on her way. As Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has kicked off principal pH๏τography, DCU fans are actively waiting to get new glimpses from the film.

With Alcock set to play Krypton’s last daughter in the story of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow – which will also feature Momoa’s debut as Lobo – many want to find out how the two DC icons will clash. To show a potential version of what their characters may look like in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Arifinity_ and Clements.Ink shared a new DCU poster featuring Alcock and Momoa’s DC players. Check it out below:

While Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film is officially where the House of the Dragon star will headline her own project, there have been reports of the actress making her DCU debut as early as this year in the Superman movie. Momoa joining the DCU franchise marks his second major DC role, as he previously played Aquaman in the DCEU, which came to an end in 2023 with Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.

What The Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow Art Means For The DCU Movie

Even though Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has only been filming for a few weeks, the fact that more fan art is emerging for Alcock’s DCU film shows that the interest is growing for Supergirl’s introduction in the franchise. There is also clearly excitement among the audience about Momoa getting a new chance to return to the DC world – especially as Lobo, given that he is a huge fan of the character himself. While time will tell how big Lobo’s role is in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, it’s more than likely that the two of them will duke it out.

Given that there hasn’t been a Supergirl movie since 1984, the hero getting her own project this early in the DCU shows that DC Studios is looking to make Kara a big player from the get-go. While Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be an adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s comic series of the same name, changes have already been implemented since Momoa’s Lobo was added to the film. Momoa being part of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow cast could, however, help set him up for future DCU projects, even if he’s only in a handful of scenes.

Seeing the tremendous Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow concept poster and how great the actors could look as their respective characters, it will be exciting when DC Studios reveals an official look of them from the DCU film. While a first look at Alcock in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow was revealed, time will tell when production will be ready to show her in the full costume. Hopefully, as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow gets further into production, Gunn and DC Studios will get close to giving the world a proper first reveal of Alcock as the Girl of Steel and Momoa as the famous DC bounty hunter.
