Marvel fans are calling Captain America star Chris Evans out for denying he’ll appear in Avengers: Doomsday. In a recent interview, Captain America: Brave New World star Anthony Mackie expressed his surprise at his long-time costar’s return to the MCU. It could be that Evans will not return to his role permanently or that he will play a variant of Captain America, meaning he’s still retired his original iteration of the character.
