A new image has been revealed for Happy Gilmore 2. The original movie was released in 1996, starring Adam Sandler as an aspiring hockey player who takes up golf to earn money to pay for his grandmother’s house, which was repossessed by the IRS. The film was directed by Dennis Dugan, and the remaining cast included Frances Bay, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Carl Weathers, Allen Covert, and Robert Smigel. In 2024, it was announced that Netflix was developing a Happy Gilmore 2, which is now set for release sometime this year.
Now, a new image has been revealed for Happy Gilmore 2, showing Sandler in the character’s classic form. He is holding his golf club in the air as he prepares to take his swing. He has popularized Spanish-language rap music worldwide, and it is conceivable that the film might have a song by the artist. The full nature of Bad Bunny’s role has yet to be revealed, but this image gives a glimpse at the part.
